By creating a Seal account, you enter into a binding agreement with Seal Financial Technologies, LLC to use the Service in accordance with our Terms of Service. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Seal partners with an FDIC-member bank to provide custodial banking services. By depositing funds into a Seal envelope, you acknowledge that:
When you create a Seal envelope, you are entering into a commitment to keep your funds locked until the designated unlock date. You acknowledge that early withdrawal ("Unsealing") is subject to a 3.5% Commitment Fee, tier-capped by envelope balance. You understand that this fee is a deliberate feature designed to protect the integrity of your savings commitment.
By joining a Group Pact, you agree to the collective terms set by the group, including the lock period and contribution amounts. Early unsealing requires approval from 3 of 5 members within 48 hours (or 2 of 3, 3 of 4, etc.). No vote = no approval. All participants are jointly responsible for maintaining the terms of their Pact. Seal is not liable for disputes between group members.
Seal partners with leading travel platforms to provide travel savings rates and discounts. By accessing travel content through Seal, you acknowledge that you are being directed to a third-party platform governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Seal may earn a commission on qualifying bookings. This affiliate relationship does not affect the rates or deals available to you.
By creating an account, you consent to receive electronic communications from Seal, including account notifications, transaction confirmations, and promotional emails. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time. Transactional and account-related communications are required and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
Any disputes arising from your use of Seal shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. You agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for matters that may be taken to small claims court. By using Seal, you waive any right to a jury trial or class action lawsuit.
